Someone call Nev Schulman! Fans were under the impression 90 Day Fiancé star Ricky Reyes was trying to pick up women after seeing “his dating profile” on Plenty Of Fish. However, the TLC star debunked those rumors while chatting with In Touch exclusively — revealing that he’s actually been catfished!

Fans originally didn’t know what to believe after seeing the profile, which claimed that Ricky was allegedly giving this dating thing one last try with a “newfound appreciation” of what it is to be in a relationship. “Nope, not me,” Ricky, 33, exclusively told In Touch. “Not in the dating scene yet, but pretty soon.” The reality star admitted that he is currently talking to one lady through Instagram and she’s been “so supportive and understanding.” Ricky said that he’s focusing on the kids through the holidays and he couldn’t be more excited about having a fresh start in 2019.

“Jan. 1st is a new year, new me, and a new opportunity to find someone of worth and value,” Ricky added. As viewers know, there was no shortage of drama for Ricky during Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. After things went south with Melissa (who people thought was a catfish), Ricky met Ximena on Colombian Cupid and later proposed to her with the ring he’d bought for Melissa. And at the end of the season, Ricky revealed that his ex-wife Natalia was still in the picture, and that he’d broken up with Ximena so that he could get back together with her for the sake of his kids.

However, it looks like he’s onto bigger and better things these days! Ricky hinted that he was going to be leaving the hit TLC show in October, while sharing a cryptic set of photos from The Truman Show, teasing that he was going to be taking his final bow from 90DF. On the plus side, we’re glad to hear that he’s doing well and looking forward to a bright future!
