At least he has a good sense of humor! Ricky is one of the newest cast members of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé, and fans are just starting to follow his journey on Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. But so far, it seems like Ricky’s story might end in heartbreak because his online girlfriend Melissa might be a catfish, which has opened Ricky up to a lot of criticism and hate on social media. But Ricky has actually been a good sport about the attention he’s getting from fans.

Ricky took to his Instagram story on Saturday, Aug. 18 to share a side-by-side photo of him with Shrek from Dreamworks’ animated comedy franchise. “Many rumors state that Shrek is my twin,” Ricky captioned the photo, and added a poll for his followers so they could vote yes or no.

Fans had been making the comparison on social media, and while it’s mean-spirited to make fun of Ricky for his looks, it seems like he’s not letting it get to him. He also is the first person to acknowledge that he is not as attractive as someone like Brad Pitt, which is why viewers think that his girlfriend Melissa, who is from Colombia, is a catfish because a girl who is as attractive as she is would usually not be attracted to someone like Ricky.

While fans will just have to wait until the next episode to find out if Melissa is really who she said she is or if she’s a catfish, Ricky continues to poke fun at himself on social media. He recently shared a meme of his 90 Day Fiancé co-star Azan Tefou claiming to be Melissa, telling Ricky the same thing that he said about Nicole when he saw her in person for the first time: that he’s “big a little bit.” Even though it was a dig at Ricky’s weight, he reposted it and laughed it off.

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on TLC.
