What happened? Nicole Nafziger and her long-distance love, Azan Tefou (a.k.a Hassan M’Raouni), were hoping to meet up in South Korea for a vacation on the recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? However, Azan was denied entry into the country, putting a huge damper on their plans. Nicole’s parents wondered why the Morocco-native wasn’t allowed in South Korea and of course, fans have been looking for answers. Romantic Rendezvous

Nicole, 25, and Azan, 27, were looking forward to enjoying a fun-filled getaway together during episode 2 of season 4, which aired on May 12. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out for the couple.

The dynamic duo attempted to take a vacation in South Korea, but Azan was denied entry. After hearing of this news, Nicole’s parents expressed their concerns.

Nicole’s parents thought it was peculiar that he wasn’t allowed in the country without any explanation. Fans also shared the same thoughts online. “Maybe never even bought a ticket,” one theorized.

Clearing the Air

During a new Q&A, the reality star addressed the incident and finally shared her side of the story. “Why did Azan get sent back from South Korea?” one of her followers asked.

“South Korea has become more strict with who they are allowing in to visit so to others staying and not leaving after their visit,” the reality star explained.

Reasons Revealed

Nicole said it also had to do with his current work situation. “That with the combination of him not having a rooted job in Morocco, they didn’t allow him to enter,” she added.

Fun Times Ahead

However, the TLC alum does have high hopes for the future! “It sucked but one day we’ll go back together and enjoy the country! We’ll make a YouTube video about that adventure when it comes time,” Nicole wrote.

Long-Distance

So, what’s the status of their relationship now? Nicole and Azan have been going strong for three and a half years, but they haven’t seen each other face to face in almost a year.

Trusting the Process

As far as if he’s going to reapply for the K-1 visa so they can be together, she dished, “He is allowed to, but it’s a matter if he’ll get denied again and most people do if they were denied the first time,” Nicole explained.

Strike Two?

“We are going to apply for the spousal visa after we’re married,” the mother-of-one added. However, will the same issue come up with the spousal visa? Nicole said not necessarily.

The Struggle Is Real

“They are not the same thing,” Nicole wrote. “Many Moroccans are getting denied their K-1s right now. It’s not just Azan.”

Ready to Relocate

Looking ahead, Nicole and her daughter, May, are preparing for some big life changes. “So our plan right now is actually for me and May to move to Morocco, marry and stay there for a little while before attempting to come to America,” she dished.

When will this plan become a reality? Nicole said that she couldn’t reveal the time yet, likely because it’s a secret due to filming.

Sparks Are Flying

On May 15, Nicole also released a statement clapping back at haters calling her “delusional” for believing that Azan’s feelings for her are true. “Yes, crazy as it seems, Azan loves me just as much as I love him,” she wrote.
