It’s a Boy! ‘90 Day Fiance’ Star Kara Bass Gives Birth to Baby No. 1 With Guillermo Rojer
Congratulations! 90 Day Fiancé star Kara Bass gave birth to baby No. 1 with husband Guillermo Rojer.
“We are so thrilled to introduce our sweet baby boy Nicolas Antonio.” Kara, 29, captioned an Instagram post on Saturday, December 3. “We have been spending the days since his birth in utter awe of how much we love him already and how perfectly sweet he truly is. Thank you for all the well wishes and messages.”
Kara and Guillermo made history alongside fellow season 9 couple Thaís Ramone and Patrick Mendes after both couples announced their pregnancies on the day of the tell-all.
“Baby Rojer coming late November 2022,” the vocalist captioned her video post in August 2022, which featured shots of her and her husband cradling her growing baby bump.
The soon-to-be parents opened up to host Shaun Robinson about the exciting milestone later that evening. “16 weeks, today,” she gushed. The TLC couple opted to wait until their November due date to find the gender.
The Virginia native and Venezuelan made their debut to the franchise in April 2022, after initially meeting when Kara took a trip to the Dominican Republic, where Guillermo happened to be working.
“I was literally just sitting at a table working on my computer with my colleague and this waiter strolled up to our table and said, ‘Ladies, tequila time!’” she said in a confessional about how they met. “And I was like, ‘Damn, he’s cute.’”
The pair exchanged numbers before eventually moving in together in the Dominican Republic. Eight months later, Guillermo asked Kara to marry him and she said “yes.” After she returned to the United States, she filed for Guillermo’s K-1 visa. And while the COVID-19 pandemic stalled their plans for nearly a year, Guillermo’s visa was approved and he moved to be with his fiancé in the United States.
Season 9 of the flagship series documented the couple as Guillermo and Kara navigated their new life together in Charlottesville, Virginia. In Touch exclusively confirmed the couple got married on July 23, 2021, in Albemarle County, Virginia, and their German Beer Hall wedding played out during a July 2022 episode of the show.
“It’s not exactly what I had imagined,” the real estate agent admitted to producers, noting they planned the ceremony in three weeks. “But to get something so large, like a wedding done in such a short amount of time, I just thought it could never happen.”
