They’re speaking out! On January 20, rumors started swirling about a domestic violence incident that occurred between 90 Day Fiancé couple Eric Rosenbrook and Leida Cohen. Details about their fight were revealed via a string of text message screenshots that surfaced online. On Sunday, January 20, 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates posted screenshots of text message conversations that took place between Leida, 29, and a friend.

In the message exchange, which took place at around 6:30 a.m., Leida asked her pal for help after she got into a nasty fight with her husband.

Leida also accused Eric, 40, of domestic abuse and said that he grabbed her by the hair during their fight.

Leida explained that Eric pulled her hair during a scuffle that broke out between them after she threatened that she was going to “kill” herself with “a knife.”

Shortly after their fight, Leida told her pal that police had arrived and she would allegedly be transported to a hospital.

In Touch can exclusively confirm that local law enforcement did respond to a call at Leida and Eric’s residence.

“Our officers were there on January 20, 2019, from 8:30 a.m.-8:43 a.m. in the morning,” Baraboo Police Department Captain Sinden exclusively told In Touch.

Captain Sinden also confirmed that they responded to the call because of an incident that occurred between Eric and Leida.

But according to the couple, they never intended to have their dirty laundry aired out via social media.

Leida decided to break her silence about the entire incident via a statement provided to In Touch.

“A domestic incident did take place between Eric and Leida on January 20, 2019. The couple asked that you please respect their desire to keep things private at this time,” Leida’s rep, Linda Zimmerman, told In Touch.

Leida’s rep also said the screenshots that surfaced online were actually leaked after Eric and Leida’s Instagram accounts were hacked.

In a separate statement, Eric confirmed to In Touch that there was an altercation between him and Leida on Sunday. He also stated that the screenshots surfaced online were posted after they both were hacked.
