Lesson learned. 90 Day Fiancé star Deavan Clegg warned about the dangers of lip filler while sharing graphic photos of her botched results on Instagram. The TLC alum said that she decided to get the procedure done in Korea “before doing research,” and they ended up using a product which had not been tested — leading to a disfigured appearance. Deavan revealed that she was luckily able to get them fixed after her franchise costar Larissa Dos Santos Lima recommended an expert who could give her the “subtle plump” she was trying to achieve in the first place. “In Korea, I decided to get fillers before doing research,” the reality star began. “The product they injected had not been tested. I went to a professional. My lip was so swollen and injected incorrectly.”

The mother of two explained how it’s OK to want to look and feel your best, but she said it’s also extremely important to make sure you are in safe hands with a doctor that specializes in the procedure.

“I had damage so severe that my lip was dying,” Deavan continued, showing off her lumpy and misshapen pout in photos. She also showed what they looked like after being fixed.

The TLC alum said she felt compelled to speak out after the ordeal. “I searched hours on what to do and couldn’t find anything so I want to help girls who are going or went through this,” she wrote.

Deavan said that fellow 90DF star Larissa, 33, advised her to visit Heather Rohrer, who is the owner of the Center for Aesthetic Medicine & Human Performance in Las Vegas, to see if she could help.

The timing worked out perfectly because Deavan and her husband, Jihoon Lee, were planning a trip there, so they could stop by.

Luckily, the cosmetic injector was able to work her magic. “Heather saved my lip from dying and I am so happy thank you so much @aestheticmedicine_lv for saving my lip,” Deavan wrote.

The Process

Heather dissolved the old filler and told The Blast she was able to give Deavan the “beautiful subtle plump” she wanted all along, after treating her over the course of four days.

Deavan has been an open book with her Instagram followers as of late, having last revealed the real reason why she decided to move to Korea.

The TV personality said she relocated to escape a “dangerous” family member who allegedly tried to “kidnap” her while pregnant.

She also said that Korea will be her home for quite some time. “Because for some reason they keep letting [my family member] out of jail,” Deavan alleged.

Viewers were introduced to Deavan and Jihoon when they appeared on season 1 of the hit reality spinoff 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. The TLC alum moved from Utah to be with Jihoon.

The couple has one biological child together Taeyang — who is now seven months old. Deavan is also the proud mother of a daughter, Drascilla, from a previous relationship.
