Ah, to be in love! Nicole Nafziger took fans on a stroll down memory lane on Oct. 18, by sharing a throwback photo from the day Azan Tefou met her mom in Morocco. The 90 Day Fiancé star was all smiles while posing with her squad in the Instagram snap.

Despite the nay-sayers, Nicole proved she and Azan are still going strong. “It was so great having my mom in Morocco and meeting my fiancé! lol at the day me and Azan accidentally matched,” she captioned the snap. The couple reportedly met on an international dating app and they’ve faced their fair share of issues throughout their romance. Nicole and Azan returned for Season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, and things were far from perfect in their relationship. Even though Nicole did move to Morocco to marry Azan, she called off their wedding twice.

However, it looks like the lovebirds have since worked out their issues since she recently gushed over her beau while sharing a photo captioned, “Our love will conquer the world.” Prior to that, Nicole shut down breakup rumors. On Sept. 22, the TLC star posted a screenshot of a fan’s comment that read, “for everyone’s information, the couple has split.” She fired back: “That’s funny, no one told me and Azan that.” Nicole continued to set the record straight, adding, “We may be thousands of miles apart, but I love you from Florida to Morocco, then to the moon and back.”

Just one week ago, Nicole swooned over Azan writing, “You add so much light to my world. I am so proud to have you in my life.” Interestingly, several of her 90 Day Fiancé co-stars recently met up for an epic party, however Nicole wasn’t present for the festivities. Underneath her throwback photo, Nicole responded to one of her followers and revealed she “decided not to go.” When asked why, she replied: “Oh well. It’s over. Next time.” Maybe then her and Azan will show up!
