Wait, What? Angela Deem Changes Relationship Status To Engaged After Explosive ’90 Day Fiancé’ Tell-All
It looks like congratulations are in order! Angela Deem sent fans into a frenzy when she changed her Facebook relationship status to engaged on Oct. 17, shortly after her showdown with Michael Ilesanmi on the 90 Day Fiancé tell-all special. Several fans were sending congratulatory messages to the reality star, while others didn’t know what in tarnation was going on.
“Congratulations who is the lucky guy?” one commented. “Spill the beans GF! So happy for ya,” another added, while a third chimed in: “Wait. What?” There’s been no shortage of drama between the pair on the hit TLC show, as Angela, 52, most recently stormed off set after learning that Michael, 30, called her his elder. “How about this?” she said while taking off her engagement ring. “F— you ’cause I’m your elder and you respect what I said. We’re done.” Tension also reached a boiling point between the two when Angela accused Michael of stealing money from her.
During a previous episode, Angela came home from Lagos to discover her bank account was wiped out. However, Michael defended himself and seemed offended that she even accused him of taking from her. “What are you trying to say? You think I stole your money or what?” It appears that she’s forgiven her younger lover now, because the missing funds were later revealed to be a bank error and on top of that, the show was filmed months ago. On Oct. 7, Angela fueled reconciliation rumors when she changed her profile photo to a PDA-filled snap of the pair kissing.
Michael also reportedly confirmed their engagement in a Facebook message conversation with a fan, according to SoapDirt. On the finale, Angela did say they were in the process of bringing Michael to the U.S. so they could get married, however this was before their “elder” feud began. The TLC star hasn’t revealed any more details about her nuptials, so we’ll have to wait and see!
