She’s asking for help. On Sunday, January 13, 90 Day Fiancé star Ashley Martson was found unresponsive in her home. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she remains hospitalized for kidney failure, which is a complication of her ongoing battle with lupus. Now, Ashley is awake and she is asking fans to donate money to her via a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to help her make ends meet amid her recent health scare.

In the description of Ashley’s GoFundMe, it states that Ashley, 31, will be undergoing dialysis for her kidney failure and she has been placed on an organ donor list. But in the meantime, she will not be able to work while being hospitalized, and her GoFundMe goal is set at $10,000. The money will go towards Ashley’s living expenses like monthly bills and hospital bills, as well as expenses she needs as a mother raising two young children.

I’m sorry if this photo offends anyone but I will not hide that I’m sick. If I can help one person with lupus then posting this is worth it. I was found unresponsive this morning at my home. The Ambulance took me to the hospital where it was found that I am in acute kidney failure due to lupus. I will begin dialysis shortly. I will not let this beat me. I know I’m strong enough to battle through this, not just for myself but for my kids. I will be transferred to another hospital this evening that is better equipped. Please pray for myself and my family as I know it’s going to be a very tough road ahead for all of us. Thank you for your continuous support and prayers #ashley #lupus #kidneyfailure #90dayfiance #tlc. **please keep negative comments off this post. I’m already scared and I don’t need to be kicked while I’m already down. Friends have started a go fund me to help Ashley during this unexpected medical issue. The link is in her story

“Ashley is stressed [over] how she will keep up with bills and provide financially for her kids,” a friend wrote in a statement posted to Ashley’s Instagram Story. “I don’t want her to worry about this and focus on her health.”

Ashley has been very open about her battle with Lupus, which is a chronic autoimmune disease that can affect and damage any part of the body —  including major organs like the heart, lungs and brain, according to the Lupus Foundation of America. Kidney failure is an unfortunate but very common since lupus can cause inflammation in the kidneys, making it difficult for them to remove waste from the body.

Even though Ashley is facing a very serious health battle as she prepares to undergo dialysis, she is still keeping a very positive outlook. In an update shared with fans, she seemed determined to regain her health. “I will not let this beat me. I know I’m strong enough to battle through this, not just for myself but for my kids,” she wrote.
