‘Young And Pregnant’ Star Ashley Jones Claps Back At Fan Who Claims Her Daughter Isn’t Dressed Properly
Don’t come for this mama! Young And Pregnant star Ashley Jones — who goes by Ashley Siren on social media — went off on a fan who claimed her daughter wasn’t dressed properly in a photo she shared to Instagram on Nov. 19, proving she’s one mom you don’t want to mess with. Check out the cute photo below, featuring little Holly stylin’ in a tiny jean jacket, which one fan commented on by saying, “First off I live in New York and I know Holly needed a coat not no jean jacket smh.”
Ashley was not pleased by that reply, and wrote back, “First off, idgaf where you live. I dressed my baby how I saw fit. Worry about your own kids or lack thereof ❤ smh.” I guess that proves she definitely reads the comments!
Ashley posted the photo with the caption, “Bar Jr,” referring to her daughter’s father, Bariki Smith, and maybe to how similar the two look. She posted the cute photo in the midst of several other photos from what seemed to be a recent trip to New York City, though it’s not entirely clear when she and Holly were outside there or how long they stayed in the Big Apple.
And that’s one point of contention with the photo — when Ashley and Holly were there could impact what the weather was like, and whether the outfit Holly has on in the photo is “appropriate.” Several fans argued about her clothes in the comments, with fans on Ashley’s side saying things like, “I wish people would realize that pictures aren’t always posted the same day you take them?” and “Why must people always point out the negative! Worry about yourselves.”
But there were definitely people who agreed with the hater Ashley directly addressed. “Holly ain’t use to this kind of weather and we only telling her outta of concern,” one person started a comment. Their intent isn’t necessarily bad, but Ashley seems plenty capable of making sure her kid is taken care of — and she went out of her way to make sure at least one opinionated commenter knew that for sure.
