Casey Anthony has run into trouble with the law — again. This time, however, it’s for a much more minor offense than what she became famous for. The one-time accused murderer was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Casey was pulled over on Nov. 19 at 5:22 p.m. in Lake Clarke Shores, FL, which is near her home in West Palm Beach. On Dec. 12, she pleaded guilty and paid a fine of $264 to close the case.

If only her last trial were that easy. True crime fans are still outraged over the gut-wrenching details of Casey‘s infamous murder case. But now that it’s been more than ten years since the disappearance and death of her daughter, Caylee, she’s just trying to lead a normal life.

And it seems like she’s been doing just that. In October, People reported that the 32-year-old has a new boyfriend. “She’s had trouble finding guys who are interested in her,” a source close to Casey told the outlet. “But he’s a really special guy who can overlook her past.”

In fact, she’s even hoping to have more kids. “For a long time she was like ‘no way,'” a separate source told the outlet. “But time has changed that and she’s now open to it in a way she hasn’t been before.”

Back in 2017, however, she told the Associated Press. she would be “dumb” to bring another child into the world. “If I am blessed enough to have another child — if I’d be dumb enough to bring another kid into this world knowing that there’d be a potential that some little snot-nosed kid would then say something mean to my kid — I don’t think I could live with that,” she said at the time.

As for work? Casey is reportedly living in the Sunshine State with Patrick McKenna, a private detective who worked as the lead investigator during her 2011 trial. She’s also employed by McKenna and helps him with his current cases by doing investigative work. McKenna is known for his work on the OJ Simpson case, the former NFL star who was charged and later acquitted in the murder of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson.

Sigh. So while accused murderers Casey and Chris Watts are out here getting dates, we can’t even get a text back.
