Some reality TV show fans just can’t get enough of their favorite series. 90 Day Live is an after-show for the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, hosted by Michelle Collins, who “dishes out the dirt with familiar guests, super fans and never before seen footage,” according to TLC. But who is Michelle Collins? The talk show host actually has roots in comedy, but you might recognize her from a few other places as well.

On July 8, a regular 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? episode was followed by a one-hour live show for the first time, and it was hosted by Michelle from the start, according to Reality Tea. The outlet described Michelle as a comedian and a “superfan” of 90 Day Fiancé, so we did a little digging to learn more about the leader of the live show.

Collins was raised in Miami Beach, Florida, according to a piece she wrote for Vanity Fair on Dec. 21, 2011. Interestingly enough, after she grew up and went out into the world, Michelle’s career didn’t really start out in the reality TV sphere.

In fact, she was mostly a panelist on shows like Chelsea Lately, The Joy Behar Show, The Tyra Banks Show, and more, or she focused on more comedic pursuits; for instance, she won the ECNY Award for Best Female Standup Comedian in New York in 2009, and Logo TV’s NewNowNext award for Breakout Comic in 2010.

Michelle joined The View as a co-host in July 2016, but she was fired the following June, according to VarietyHer time there was not without controversy — at one point, Michelle got herself into hot water when she criticized nurses, and she once got in trouble for mocking Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina’s face, the online outlet noted.

But now, Michelle seems to have found the right home with 90 Day Live. She hosted an installment of the after-show following the Nov. 11 episode of 90 Day Fiancé, with scheduled guests like Angela and Colt’s mom Debbie, Reality Tea reported.

Michelle’s Instagram lists her as the host of the reality series after-show as well as a Sirius XM show. So hopefully, all the 90 Day Fiancé viewers out there are fans of her, because it doesn’t sound like TLC is going to let her go from her 90 Day hosting duties anytime soon. Stay tuned.
