At just 20 years old, Morgan is addicted to the only drug she’s ever tried — heroin. Although the young mom once aspired to be a nurse and earned scholarships to college, she is now living with her grandma, husband and one-year-old daughter in Lancaster, Ohio. Her family fears that without an Intervention, Morgan is in danger of leaving her only child motherless. Watch the exclusive A&E sneak peek above.

“Morgan had the world at her fingertips. Morgan could have done anything she wanted to do. She got scholarships to college,” Morgan’s mother, Tammy, said with tears in her eyes. “It just didn’t happen.”

Morgan’s sister, Macey, agreed that her future was bright. “Morgan is so smart, she’s so funny. She was an amazing older sister,” she told cameras. Their father, Jim, added that she was the picture-perfect child. “She’s a very caring person, loving. A great kid,” he said. “One of the best.”

The Ohio native — who has been married to her husband, Terrance, 20, for a little over a year — admitted that she wanted to be a nurse “ever since I was little.” Morgan added, “I really love to help people and take care of people. I think I’m a nice person, I don’t know.” However, that dream has since been shattered: ‘I’m a drug addict.”

Will Morgan get the help she needs? Tune in to Intervention on Tuesday, May 21, at 8 p.m. ET to find out.
