This is quite the confession. Lamar Odom was offered a spot on the U.S. Men’s Olympic basketball team in 2004 except there was one problem — he needed to pass a drug test. So, the dad of two figured out a creative solution to fix his problem. At the time, the 39-year-old was using drugs and if he didn’t come back with clean results, then he would have been disqualified from competing at the sporting event in Athens, Greece.

The athlete got a “call from U.S.A. Basketball that a drug tester would be coming to my house in a few days to administer the screening,” he wrote in his new memoir, Darkness to Light. “There was absolutely no way I was going to pass. I’d been smoking weed every day that summer. Panic set in.”

The New York native decided to take matters into his own hands. “We started googling ‘fake penises’ and studied different ways to beat a drug test,” he said. “After an exhaustive search, we ordered a giant, rubber, black c–k to arrive the next day.”

The NBA champion even got his drug-free trainer to “urinate into the reservoir of the phallus, which was hidden in the balls,” he wrote. “He handed me the rubber penis and left the bathroom as I strapped it on,” he recalled, referring to his trainer.

The official tester watched Lamar firmly press his trainer’s pee out from the prosthetic body part. “I unzipped my pants and carefully slid the fake penis through the zipper hole,” he said. “To get the pee to come out of the tip, I had to squeeze the shaft repeatedly.”

In the book, the former reality star “was paranoid it wouldn’t work.” However, he passed the procedure with flying colors. “He stuck a thermometer in the cup to gauge the temperature … satisfied that the pee was mine, said ‘Welcome to Team U.S.A.,’” he said.

The Khloé & Lamar alum also revealed that he has had a lot of sex with plenty of women. “I have been obsessed with sex for as long as I can remember. I am a sex addict — I’ve had sex with more than 2,000 women,” he wrote. “There were too many strippers to count. It wasn’t a big deal, but often I would pay them. I never thought less of them.”

Lamar admitted he is “still an addict” and is a work in progress.
