Just one day after Heather Locklear was arrested for domestic violence for allegedly attacking her boyfriend, Chris Heisser, he was booked on a separate DUI charge.

TMZ reported that Chris was pulled over on the 101 freeway in California when highway patrol noticed his Mercedes sedan driving at an unusually slow pace. He was given a field sobriety test — which he didn't pass — and was immediately cited.

Heather has been dating Chris for more than a year now, but the two were actually high school sweethearts and reconnected after the The Perfect Man actress split from Marc Mani in 2016. Keep reading to learn about some of Chris' secret past!

Chris was once an AMA motocross racer.

The 56-year-old was actually once a professional AMA motocross racer and according to Racer X Online, he was a top 10 National finisher in 1982 and 1983. Back then, Chris was given the nickname "Tin Can" because "of the hand-built aluminum gas tank. The bike was all hand built."

When his motocross career ended, Chris became a contractor.

Unfortunately, Chris' contracting career wasn't as successful as his motocross days. In 2013, he was sentenced to two years in prison for fraud after he "forged the signature of one of the homeowners on construction loan documents and illegally obtained hundreds of thousands of dollars from the mortgage company." In addition to his time behind bars, Chris was ordered to pay $650,000 in restitution to the victims of the fraud scandal.

Chris has children from a previous marriage.

Like Heather, Chris tied the knot before the two rekindled their high school romance. He is currently divorced and has two children from his previous marriage. An insider shared with Radar Online that his kids aren't particularly happy about his relationship with Heather.
