Sister Wives Is Coming Back Sooner Than You Think! Watch the First Season Trailer
Huzzah! Fans have been worried that the Brown family had sung their swan song and gotten cancelled on TLC. There has been no news of a new season of Sister Wives in the last year, after all! However, their dreams came true on Dec. 14, when a new trailer dropped revealing that the new season begins in less than a month — on Sunday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m.! Click here to watch the trailer.
It’s already obvious from the teaser that this season will be well worth the wait! There are some major highs in the trailer. We’re going to get to see Mykelti and Tony’s wedding, Mariah introduces her girlfriend to the family for the first time, and Maddie unveils her pregnancy in the most adorable way possible… and then gives birth in the bathtub! Plus the Sister Wives have a lot of exciting things going on, like Meri’s new bed and breakfast dream.
However, what would a reality show be without some hard times? One of the Brown daughters seems to struggle with scoliosis, while Christine thinks Meri might be trying to distance herself from the family even more after her catfishing drama. That’s something that Kody is also having a hard time with, when he says “Meri is ready to go back into a deep and emotional relationship and I’m not.” Yikes! Luckily, the sisters promise that they will love Meri no matter what happens with Kody, and that was very sweet.
Of course another huge aspect of this season will be the battle to “love march” on the Utah capital to decriminalize polygamy. There are tears, chants, and the threat of arrest. We can’t wait to see what happens! We’ll jsut have to tune in on Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. on TLC to find out.
