Don’t mess with him! Tyler Baltierra of Teen Mom OG fame took on a Twitter troll who said he was “trash” for placing his first child, Carly, up for adoption, and the reality TV dad absolutely did not hold back. The former 16 and Pregnant star has always been very open about what a challenge it was for him and his wife, Catelynn Lowell, to let go of Carly, and he likely did not appreciate someone looking down on him for the choice. Scroll through our gallery to see what he had to say.
Teen Mom star Tyler, 27, is generally pretty receptive and honest with his fans and followers on social media. His wife, Cate, 27, can be the same way.

No Shame
“If PLACING my innocent daughter into an adoption plan at 16 with a couple who can not have biological children makes me trash, then you might as well send me to the damn dump so I can put a throne on top & call it home!” Tyler replied, along with the hashtag “#NoShame.”

Ignorant
Another fan replied, “People are so ignorant. I was adopted by parents who couldn’t have children on their own. Closed adoption. But I was given a life only some could dream of. Perfect childhood. Perfect teen years and pretty much perfect parents. Y’all did what y’all knew was right. Rooting for y’all.”

You Did Your Best
A different follower reassured the parents, “That lady obviously has never been put in that position. You did the best thing you could have possibly done … Don’t [ever] think of yourself as anything but a great and loving person.”
