As they reunite in real life, Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s relationship drama is also playing out on screen. In a new Keeping Up With the Kardashians preview, which dropped on Thursday, August 20, the NBA player invited his ex to move in at his Los Angeles house while her own home was under construction. He even told her she could live there “forever” with daughter True.

“You’re gonna have to pick up and move, and then you’re gonna have to relocate,” Tristan, 29, said in the clip. “I think, you know, ‘cause I have my house in L.A. — I’d love for you and True to stay there as long as you guys need to, and I’ll give you guys the keys and you can go party on. You, True and whoever else.”

However, there was one condition. When Khloé, 36, joked about what exactly “whoever else” might mean, he clarified he meant BFF Malika Haqq and other friends like that. Joking that the Good American founder shouldn’t “get any ideas,” he teased he should be one of the only guys invited over.

The Cleveland Cavaliers player seemed to mean his flirty words. When his ex asked what they would do when he’s back in town during the off-season, he suggested he could find a new place — and then hinted that maybe they could all live in the home together. “Mi casa es su casa,” he said. “Who knows. You could just live there forever.”

In real life, the parents started sparking reconciliation rumors in June. An insider close to the Kardashians told In Touch the stars “have been trying to work their relationship out for a while” at the time, but Khloé was “really worried about going public” following Tristan’s cheating scandal. Though the mama “really believed” the athlete “changed” after their breakup, she was hesitant about the backlash she’d face from taking him back.

Despite that, the two continued to flirt online in Instagram comments, and fans even speculated the basketball player had popped the question after Khloé was spotted wearing what looked like an enormous diamond ring on *that* finger. In July, a second source told In Touch the couple was officially back on.

“Tristan spent months begging Khloé to give things another shot and, in the end, she caved,” they said. “[He] promised her he’s a changed man … and she says she believes him.”

The second half of season 18 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians returns Thursday, September 17, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on E!
