‘The Hills’ Star Ashley Wahler Says Kailynn Carter Is ‘Really Happy’ With Miley Cyrus: ‘I Wish Them the Best’

All good! The Hills: New Beginnings reality star Ashley Wahler revealed her costar Kaitlynn Carter seems to be doing great ever since she started seeing Miley Cyrus. “I just wish them the best,” the 30-year-old told In Touch exclusively at the BB Lifestyle luncheon on Thursday, September 12, in Beverly Hills. “I think she’s really happy.”

During the season 1 finale of the MTV show, Ashley was concerned Kaitlynn, 31, wanted to have babies with her then-husband, Brody Jenner, since Ashley had heard Brody was sleeping with other women. At the end of the episode, the ladies worked out their issues, and the blogger revealed the former flames would get intimate with other women — together.

Since Ashley ~kind of~ had a feeling something was up with Brody and Kaitlynn, she didn’t know Kaitlynn would go on to date the 26-year-old pop star right away. “I don’t really, honestly, know them as well. I had just met them during the first season, so I was just kind of feeling everybody out,” she admitted. “I had dealt with so many of my own things throughout the season with [her husband] Jason [Wahler] and his recovery.  Honestly, I’m just really focusing on that and our family right now.”

So, does Ashley regret how she handled things with Kaitlynn? “It’s always difficult when you’re filming reality just because I think there are some things that are … Editing does play a pretty big part in the show,” she said. “I just am comfortable with who I am and it’s just what it is. I have no ill feelings for either Brody or Kaitlynn. I wish them both the best.”

The mom of one also explained where things stand with the New Hampshire native now. “I mean we’re friends,” she explained. “I don’t talk to her every single day, but I don’t have any ill feelings toward her, you know? I just feel like sometimes you connect more with certain people than others. But obviously, no, I wish her the best.”

Miley — who called off her eight-month marriage to Liam Hemsworth in August — and Kaitlynn were first spotted making out during their Italian getaway in August. Since then, they have made many numerous public appearances in New York City this past week, and it seems like they are in a great spot. “Miley and Kaitlynn’s relationship isn’t just for show,” a source exclusively told In Touch. “They’re genuinely in love. Miley is so happy. You’d never know she was going through a divorce. She was acting like she didn’t have a care in the world.”

It seems like Miley and Kaitlynn are definitely in the honeymoon phase!
