Rachel Lindsay Has a Blast From the Past While Meeting ‘The Bachelorette’ Contestants

Now, this could definitely complicate things for The Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay.

Fans of the ABC reality franchise are anxiously awaiting tonight’s season premiere — and it turns out that the attorney, 31, is already VERY familiar with one of her contestants named Fred, who works as an executive assistant.

“I haven’t seen you or talked to you in over 15 years, it’s good seeing you again Rachel,” he says after exiting the limo.

Rachel reveals that she was actually his camp counselor back in the day and that he was a “very bad kid!” Yikes — we can’t help but wonder if their ~history~ could wind up hurting Fred’s chances!

The 27-year-old comes from Dallas, TX, and reveals in his ABC bio that he holds two graduate degrees from two different universities and graduate programs — and even finished both in the same weekend. He also admits to sometimes getting aroused at work (possibly a red flag) and letting loose on the weekends. We’re all only human, I guess.

“I would describe myself as an unselfish lover. I wouldn’t feel satisfied unless I knew my partner was,” he says.

It also sounds like Fred’s family holds a high place in his life, as he describes his perfect hometown date as being “with my sisters and my mom and we would go to Pappadeaux.” Aw! Well, now we are just swooning.

This is hardly the first dose of drama when it comes to this season’s contestants. In Touch exclusively reported last month that two of the men — Ex Isle alums Blake Elarbee, 31, and Lucas Yancey, 30 — dated the same girl.

“Lucas brought his ex-girlfriend Brittney on the [WEtv reality] show, but during filming, she hit it off with Blake,” said an insider. “These guys do not get along in real life. Producers must have cast them on purpose because it’ll make for good TV!”
