Oh no! Teresa Giudice’s father, Giacinto Gorga, is still in the hospital after the 47-year-old left BravoCon early on Saturday, November 16, to be by her father’s bedside. Although her dad is still under the weather, things are looking up.

He is “doing all right,” Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga, told RadarOnline on Monday, November 18. “He’s still in the hospital. I don’t know when he’ll be released,” he added. Since fleeing to be with her father, she hasn’t left his side. “She was there all last night and this morning,” a source told Radar.

The news of her father’s health scare comes days after the 76-year-old and his family returned from Italy after visiting Teresa’s husband, Joe Guidice. Giacinto appeared to be having a blast as he reunited with his son-in-law. Although, in several videos from their family trip, Giacinto appeared to be wearing an oxygen mask during some of the festivities.

Previously, the proud grandfather has struggled with health issues in the past. Back in October 2018, he was hospitalized for pneumonia twice in one week and suffered from a hematoma in his stomach. “It’s so complicated. It’s very exhausting,” Teresa told The Daily Dish about her dad’s health at the time. “It’s like between him and me, we can’t catch a break.”

Despite her father’s health, it appears that Teresa is doing well since her highly anticipated trip to see Joe. “I was so happy. I was happy he was free. I was happy. My daughters were so happy. It was just very, very, very emotional,” she exclusively told In Touch at BravoCon about how she felt after she saw Joe for the first time following his released from ICE custody.

She also raved about how good Joe looks. “He worked out the whole time while he was away, like twice a day. Yeah, no, that’s what he loves to do. He’s going to keep working out. If anything, he’s not working out as much as he was working out. In there, that’s all you do,” she explained.

Joe was previously incarcerated for 41-months for several counts of fraud. Upon his release from prison, he was transferred to ICE custody as he is not an American-born citizen. Joe is currently living in Italy while he awaits a verdict on his deportation appeal.

This New Jersey family can’t seem to catch a break. We hope Giacinto feels better soon!
