Kailyn Lowry Explains What Really Happened When Javi Marroquin Caught Her Cheating on ‘Teen Mom 2’

Now it’s Kailyn Lowry’s turn to tell her side of the story!

The Teen Mom 2 star got into an explosive fight with her now ex-husband Javi Marroquin during this week’s episode when he caught her cheating with another man! Though Kail refused to film for the rest of the episode, she’s now ready to explain what really went down that day.

“The guy in the episode has been Kail’s friend for years, Javi acted like he walked in on something romantic between those two, but he didn’t,” a source close to Kailyn told Radar Online. “They’ve been friends for a few years and tried to see their potential romantically. They are still together.”

Kailyn and Javi originally agreed that he would drop off their son — three-year-old Lincoln — at around 5 p.m., the insider explained. But Javi showed up an hour earlier than expected to find his belongings out in the garage — and that’s when he caught her in their home with another man.

Kail refused to film after their blowout argument — which happened in front of their son Lincoln and Kailyn’s seven-year-old son Isaac (whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera). The source explained that she wanted to be “more private about things while filming” and she didn’t want to “air out their dirty laundry as a couple."
