Unlucky in love? Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer split from her boyfriend Jason Jordan after six months of dating, sources confirmed to Us Weekly. Shortly after news about her breakup started circulating, Leah took to Twitter to share a cryptic yet positive message that might hint at a reason for her split.

“Some things are meant to happen, just not meant to be. Some things are meant to come into your life, just not meant to stay,” the 26-year-old wrote on Twitter along with a text post message that read: “To protect your energy…it’s okay to cancel a commitment. It’s okay to not answer that call. It’s okay to change your mind. It’s okay to want to be alone. It’s okay to take a day off. It’s okay to do nothing. It’s okay to speak up. It’s okay to let go.”

It seems like their split is amicable, and an insider revealed why the couple decided to go their separate ways. “It just wasn’t working,” the source explained to Us Weekly. “They’re just not a good fit.”

Leah and Jason, 40, started dating last April but they kept their relationship under wraps until they were spotted out together on a vacation with Leah’s three daughters on the Fourth of July. After that, Jordan started to make appearances on Leah’s social media and it seemed like they made a great couple because they had a lot in common as divorced single parents.

Fans also shipped Leah and Jason, and many of them pointed out how happy Leah looked with Jason whenever she’d post photos with him. But it looks like Leah already moved on from their relationship because she purged Jason from social media, and it’s unfortunate because fans are really hoping that Leah will find someone to settle down with after everything she’s been through.
