Jeremy Calvert thinks it’s time to tell his side of the story!
Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer’s ex-husband took to Instagram over the weekend and he sounded pretty upset in a video rant where he accused MTV of manipulating storylines after the way he was portrayed in a deleted scene from season 7 of the hit reality TV series.
“This season of Teen Mom 2 when s–t’s not edited and portrayed correctly as it took place in real time, now that this clip has come to my attention, you’re gonna hear my own statement and my own side of sh– of how it’s not edited correctly,” Jeremy said in the short video clip on Instagram. “So stay tuned.”
“Large media corporations have a tendency to socially engineer viewers to instill an emotion on viewers which is most lucrative for their stakeholders, holding no regard for the impact they can have on my life, and the life of my family,” he continued in the caption. “As a repercussion for deceitful editing, I will address each scene with what really happened. I appreciate all of your support over the years.”
Jeremy seems to be talking about a deleted scene from season 7B obtained by OK Magazine last week. In the clip, Leah was driving in the car with their daughter Adalynn after picking her up from a visit with Jeremy. During the car ride, Jeremy’s ex-wife gossiped with a friend about his recent engagement to his girlfriend, Brooke Wehr.
"I guess he got engaged on his vacation,” Leah told her pal. “I mean, he was like, ‘Yeah, I got engaged.’ But then he was like, ‘It’s just engaged, it’s not that serious.’”
Leah hinted that Jeremy might not be excited about being engaged to Brooke, and she said that she thought it was great that Jeremy found the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
"'I just hope that this is serious and something that you really want for the sake of our child,’” she said.
