Kailyn Lowry Gets Emotional Confessing She Still ‘Loves’ Chris Lopez, Despite Not Speaking For Months
She’s pouring her heart out! Kailyn Lowry broke down into tears while discussing her relationship with Chris Lopez, during a new Teen Mom 2 special. The MTV star opened up about their rocky past and time apart, revealing that didn’t make her love for him disappear.
“In a way I hate him, because I feel like I really gave my all to him and I didn’t get that back,” Kailyn said, while spilling details about her third baby daddy. “But then on the other hand, it’s like I want to thank him because I learned that I am capable of loving someone and like, truly, being faithful and committed in a relationship. And it’s sad, because I have kids with Jo [Rivera] and Javi [Marroquin] as well, but I just didn’t love them the way I loved Chris.”
“I don’t think I’ll ever settle down in a real relationship. The one relationship that I gave my all in completely f–ked me up and I’m still in love with Chris. We didn’t speak for eight months and I’m still in love with him,” Kailyn confessed, while trying to dry the tears from her eyes. During the special, an emotional throwback clip was played, showing Kailyn getting upset while chatting with her friend Sterling as she made her way to an ultrasound. “He won’t even pick up the phone if he’s with another girl,” the 26-year-old said at the time.
Kailyn and Chris did have a solid friendship before getting serious and they have since found a way to co-parent their son Lux. The two reunited to celebrate his first birthday last month, and on Sept. 10, Chris posted a very sweet post gushing over his ex. “Sitting back, I got a lot of respect for his mother,” he wrote. “Raising not only my son but her other boys as well. I don’t know how she does it lol.” We’ll see if fate brings these two back together!
