‘Teen Mom 2’ Fans Troll Jenelle Evans As She Prepares For Hurricane Florence In NC
We’re hoping they stay safe! Jenelle Evans and her family are preparing to weather a Category 3 storm named Hurricane Florence as it’s headed towards their home state of North Carolina, but of course, Teen Mom 2 fans have something to say about it. Many of them took to social media to troll Jenelle and criticize her for not taking the preparations seriously enough.
“Preparing for this hurricane and wow got the LAST 100 [foot] extension cords from the hardware store. Everything is going quick! #HurricaneFlorence,” the 26-year-old tweeted. A hater pointed out that extension cords wouldn’t be much of a help if her power went out or if her house got flooded, and Jenelle clapped back. “Oh yeah that’s the ONLY [sic] thing we got,” she said sarcastically. “And no, my area is not in a flood zone.”

According to CNN, Wilmington, NC is placed on “Hurricane Watch” alert since it’s not very close to the shore. Areas like Myrtle Beach are on “Hurricane Warning” alert. According to The Weather Channel, New Hanover County (which includes Wilmington) is in a voluntary evacuation.
It didn’t help that Jenelle decided to share a message on social media asking fans to pray for North Carolina and South Carolina. It wasn’t so much the message itself that angered fans, but the way she chose to deliver it — by sharing a bikini pic of herself standing in the rain. Fans flooded her mentions with angry comments.

“Dude I’m gonna put a profile pic up that makes it look like I give a s–t about some dudes, but hey dude really I just want to put my half-naked body on social media…cos [sic] dude I’m cool!!” one fan wrote, mocking the way Jenelle speaks. Another commented, “I love Jenelle but LOLOL I must say that the picture does seem a little in poor taste for the circumstances.”
