Don’t question her qualifications! Earlier this week, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans revealed that she is homeschooling her stepdaughter Maryssa Eason and of course, all of her haters had something to say about it — including her enemy Kailyn Lowry. But Jenelle took to Twitter to let everyone know that she is more than qualified to be her stepdaughter’s teacher.

“Myself of all people have went to Early College High School, graduated HS early after having Jace, went back to college and graduated medical school, finished Scuba certification, CPR class, Nitrox Scuba Class, uhmmmm [sic]…. so you were saying?!” Jenelle clapped back after a fan said that “of all people,” Jenelle should not be trusted with her stepdaughter’s education.

Jenelle revealed the news while in the middle of a Twitter fight with Kailyn. “While you’re over here podcasting away, tweeting pure bulls–t about me, or posting #FakeNews…I’ll be over here homeschooling my stepdaughter and minding my business,” she wrote, and that’s when the backlash started.

But according to the Non-Public Education Department of North Carolina Administration, Jenelle does meet all of the requirements. A spokesperson confirmed to Radar that anyone who has at least a high school diploma or its equivalent can open a home school in the state of North Carolina.

Not much is known about David’s 11-year-old daughter, except the fact that she just started living with David full-time since last May and Jenelle previously revealed that Maryssa visits with her biological mom, David’s ex, on the weekends. Since Maryssa started living with them, the little girl makes regular appearances on Jenelle’s Instagram, and she’s also involved in cheerleading, and she seems to get along well with Jenelle’s kids. But it also seems like there might be a very good reason why Maryssa needed to be homeschooled.

“You have NO IDEA why she was pull [sic] out of school,” Jenelle tweeted. “Don’t want to put anyone on blast either.”
