Just three days after Teen Mom 2 alum Jenelle Evans announced her split from her estranged husband, David Eason, he’s speaking out. The former MTV star took to his Instagram Story to seemingly throw shade at Jenelle, 27, after they separated and she filed for divorce earlier this week.

David, 31, posted a screenshot of a TMZ article that reported Jenelle currently has sole custody of their daughter, 2-year-old Ensley, during their separation. The former couple has not gone to court to fight for custody of Ensley, but if they do, Jenelle is reportedly planning to fight for full custody. She feels that she is more fit to parent Ensley, after David’s dog killing incident earlier this year. Back in April, David shot the family’s French bulldog Nugget after the pup allegedly snapped at Ensley.

But in his second post, David shared a screenshot of another TMZ article that reported details about Jenelle’s April 2018 road rage incident where she pulled a gun on the other driver, which aired during an episode of Teen Mom 2 later that year. “But this is okay?” David wrote as a caption on his Instagram Story.

As In Touch previously reported, Jenelle was driving with her oldest son, Jace, in the passenger seat of her truck. They were driving from their joint therapy appointment to get some ice cream when a male driver in a white pickup truck started to aggressively tailgate her car. Jenelle threatened to drive slower, and the driver of the white pickup truck switched lanes, sped up, then cut Jenelle off and slammed on his breaks, break-checking her. She called 911 but decided to follow the driver to his home, where the situation escalated. At one point, the other driver tried to block Jenelle from leaving his property with his own car, but he hit hers — and that’s when she pulled her gun out on him.

It seems like Jenelle and David’s split is not amicable after she announced she would be filing for divorce from him on social media on Thursday, October 31. “The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end, but I know that’s what is best for me and for my kids. Today, I’ve filed papers to start that process,” she wrote.
