Teen Mom 2’s Briana DeJesus and Her Boyfriend Celebrate 1-Year Anniversary With a ‘Baecation’
Celebrating a milestone! Teen Mom 2 star Briana DeJesus and her boyfriend, John Rodriguez, have been together for one whole year and to celebrate their first anniversary, the couple jetted off to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. On Friday, May 25, Bri took to Instagram to share a handful of pictures from their “baecation” and they looked super loved up as they enjoyed some quality time together.
“#1yearanniversary #puntacana #baecation I love you ❤️,” the 25-year-old wrote in the caption. In the pics, John and Bri had fun together parasailing and snorkeling in the Carribean.
Meanwhile, John took to his own Instagram page to gush over his girl. “Over the last few days, we were able to go on our first vacation to celebrate what would be our one year anniversary but most importantly your birthday,” he wrote. “I’m proud of the woman I’ve seen you evolve into over the past year and the woman you’ve shown potential to be. Seeing you be able to enjoy yourself and be free made this trip all worth it for me, from seeing you not wanting to do the superwoman with the dolphins after failing once to coming right back with a strong firm pose. Thank you for trusting in me to make this time we spent together special and thank you for being my partner, my lover and friend. May this be the first of many to come, I love you.”
Some Teen Mom 2 fans were shocked that Bri and John have been together for this long, but it’s understandable. She didn’t go Instagram official with him until September 2018, and fans were just introduced to John during season 9 of the hit MTV reality TV series.
And since things are going so well between them, everyone is wondering when the couple will take the next step in their relationship and get engaged. But Bri previously revealed to In Touch that they are not in a rush to tie the knot.
“John and I are VERY happy and everything’s still going really well between us. It’s like no other relationship I’ve had thus far and I’m super stoked about the way things are going,” she told In Touch in April. “Things are proceeding well between us and we’re just enjoying what we currently have — a great relationship built on trust, attraction, and one that we’re enjoying living (mostly) off camera.”
