Kristen Stewart Takes Legal Action After Nude Selfies With Girlfriend Stella Maxwell Leak Online
Nude photos have leaked of Kristen Stewart and her girlfriend Stella Maxwell — and the Twilight actress is threatening legal action. Images of the couple surfaced online and her lawyer is asking the website to immediately remove the illegally obtained pics.
According to TMZ, the photos in question show Stella, 27, taking a selfie in the bathroom with a naked Kristen, 27, standing behind her. K-Stew’s attorney has already sent the website a letter, claiming the NSFW photos are a violation of copyright laws, since neither of the celebs gave their permission to share.

Kristen and Stella are the just the latest celebs targeted by the website. Tiger Woods, Miley Cyrus, and Katharine McPhee were also affected by the hackers.
Kristen has been very open in the past about embracing nudity. “I’m pretty open,” she told W magazine about appearing nude on film. “I think people are a little too f–king weird about it, to be honest, but that’s kind of why I was like, ‘I’ll do it.’” However, consent is the major issue when it comes to these hacked images.

Last year, the hacker who stole nude photos from hundreds of famous women was sentenced to 18 months in prison. Ryan Collins pled guilty to federal hacking charges after he tricked celebs such as Jennifer Lawrence and Rihanna by sending fake emails that appeared to be from Apple or Google, obtaining their passwords, and downloading the contents of their iCloud backups — including nude photos.
“It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime. It is a sexual violation,” JLaw told Vanity Fair at the time. “It’s disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change.”
She continued, “Anybody who looked at those pictures, you’re perpetuating a sexual offense. You should cower with shame. Even people who I know and love say, ‘Oh, yeah, I looked at the pictures.’ I don’t want to get mad, but at the same time I’m thinking, I didn’t tell you that you could look at my naked body.”
