The report suggests that Janelle and Adam split in June 1990 after two years of marriage, alleging that she “met and fell in love” with her sister-in-law’s husband, Kody, while still married to her first husband!

In her bio for the show, Janelle states, “I met Kody in the fall of 1989, even though he may not remember it. When he walked into the room I looked at him and had that feeling of remembering something I had forgotten. It was a singular experience.”

“I had known Meri’s family for several years before the night I met Kody,” she adds — though not specifying on how she knew the family.

Adam and Meri’s sister, Elaine, confirmed the unusual sibling love triangle, but opted not to comment further on the situation.
