We’d Put up With Farrah Abraham, Too, If We Were Making as Much as Simon Saran… (Maybe)
Simon Saran — aka Farrah Abraham‘s on-again, off-again beau — is making some serious cash from his reality star fame. The Teen Mom OG star may not be dating the 26-year-old anymore, but he’s milking every second of his 15 minutes… and we can’t say we blame him. His estimated net worth is, wait for it, a cool $1 million as of 2017. WTF. Let’s break it all down, shall we?
Who is Simon Saran?
Believe it or not, Simon has a totally legit job outside TV. In fact, he’s smart AF — which makes us wonder why he ever dated Farrah in the first place. Oops, did we say that out loud? He’s actually the Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) of Global Wealth Enterprise and is currently the General Manager of GPS motors, according to The Net Worth Portal. Aka he’s a real estate mogul and car salesman.
How much does Simon get paid on Teen Mom OG?
We assume he makes a majority of his cash as a businessman, considering most reality TV star sidekicks don’t get paid much. According to a report from Business Insider, spouses, friends, and other relatives get paid about $500 per appearance, and in many cases, “these supplemental players may not get paid at all.”
In a now-deleted tweet from June, the real estate maven shared screenshots of a text exchange with someone named Jordan from the MTV production team, asking him to attend the reunion so he can do a solo interview with Nessa about his and Farrah’s status. And let’s just say the crying laughing emoji was needed when it was revealed how much he’d get paid… “$250 and they will cover flight, hotel and per diem,” the producer said, likely referring to a daily allowance for food etc. Yikes.
Will Simon get back together with Farrah?
Um. Let’s hope not.
