Getting back on the horse! Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause is slowly stepping into the dating scene following her split from Justin Hartley.

“I’m completely single,” the soap opera veteran told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, September 2, explaining she hasn’t “done much mingling” as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Despite the hiccup in her dating game, the brunette beauty is “excited to mingle” once things are back to normal.

While Chrishell is taking “baby steps” to find romance again, she admitted it’s been flattering to see some eligible bachelors in her DMs. “I feel so weird. But yes, that has been a nice surprise,” she told the outlet. “There’s a few [people you might know], but I’m not going to tell you who,” she teased. As of now, Chrishell has yet to accept anyone’s advances. “[I’ve responded] in a polite way. I haven’t like gone and like … I haven’t taken the next step, no.”

As the reality star gets used to the single life, she is challenging herself with new endeavors. The real estate agent was announced as one of the 15 contestants on season 29 of Dancing With the Stars. When she steps onto the dance floor, she said the “majority” of her Oppenheim Group coworkers will be “cheering” her on.

Chrishell’s new venture comes 10 months after Justin filed for divorce in November 2019 following two years of marriage and six years as a couple. On her Netflix show, she revealed she was completely “blindsided” by her ex’s decision.

In addition to her public breakup, she is also mourning the deaths of both her parents. Her father lost his life to lung cancer in April, while her mother died of the same disease four months later in July. Despite the hardships Chrishell has encountered, she’s determined to move forward.

“I have dealt with personal stuff with my family, but even that … it just feels like it’s just an important time to say yes to things, because you don’t know how short life is,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “You don’t know how long you’re going to be here. You’re not promised anything, so if this year has taught me anything, it’s just — even if it scares you, just say yes, dress up, show up, get out there.”
