‘Jersey Shore’ Alum Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola and Fiancé Christian Biscardi Announce YouTube Channel
They’re giving it a shot. Jersey Shore alum Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and her fiancé, Christian Biscardi, have started a YouTube channel. But there’s a catch — in order for their fans to see more content on the channel, they need 50,000 subscribers.
On November 20, Sammi, 32, shared a teaser video on Instagram and wrote, “HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT! Hit link in bio & subscribe for more ☺️.” In the clip itself, the couple was seen riding around in a car, and Sammi addressed the camera and said, “Hey guys! We have a huge announcement,” before directing people to her bio again.
Over on YouTube, the couple currently has just one video posted. “Because so many of you guys have been asking, we have our YouTube channel coming,” Sammi explained in it. “We’re going to give you a look into our everyday life with traveling. We’re going to be doing some cooking.”
“Because of the overwhelming demand, we’re going to give you the exclusive behind-the-scenes of our wedding,” the reality star added. The video then included shots from the couple’s sweet proposal, before Sammi dropped another bit of news. “We really, really need your help,” she said. “As soon as we reach 50,000 subscribers, we’re going to release our first episode.”
And just to give viewers an idea of what’s in store if they do subscribe, the video then continued on to show images of Sammi and Christian hanging out on the beach, general shots of the sand and sea, and even clips of the two of them making pasta and driving around.
It definitely seems like travel will be a big part of the couple’s content on the channel, but fans can probably also expect lots of wedding-related footage, The couple got engaged in 2019 and the former MTV star celebrated her 32nd birthday on March 14, by sharing a photo showing off her diamond engagement ring. “Welp, this is 32. #Pisces #BirthdayGirl 🎉🎉 #HappyBDay2Me,” she wrote at the time.
One place fans won’t be seeing wedding coverage? On any sort of Jersey Shore-related spinoff. Sammi actually opted out of being part of the revival, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, and doesn’t seem to have any regrets. Her followers will just have to pop over to YouTube to get all the deets!
