Don’t mess with Roger Mathews! The businessman dressed up his two kids, Meilani, 5, and Greyson, 3, in Halloween costumes, but some parents weren’t happy that they had toy cigarettes in their mouths. “Never was there a better Danny Zuko and Sandra D. Grease came to New Hope Railroad,” the 44-year-old captioned a photo of his tots dressed up as the main characters from Grease via Instagram on Sunday, October 27. “Please comment on the fake cigarettes, so I can block you. Please. They nailed the role, and if you don’t get it, you most certainly would never get us. #Peace.” Scroll through the gallery below to see how he responded to the trolls.

One person wrote, “Not liking it. They’re too little,” while another echoed, “OMG, cigarettes!!! Come on, you’re a f—king dad. Aren’t you supposed to keep them away from cancer??” A third person chimed in, writing, “You had to know people were going to ride your ass about the fake cigarettes.”

However, Roger — who was previously married to Jersey Shore star Jenni “JWoww” Farley — couldn’t help but clap back. “Nope. Didn’t even think about it then. After a few comments, I remembered how many p—sys walk amongst us every day.”

Despite the negative comments, some people enjoyed seeing Roger’s children embracing the Halloween spirit. “OMG!!! I love these costumes!! Totally nailed it!! Gorgeous kiddos … Amazing father!! Happy Halloween to you all!! BTW, we grew up buying ‘fake cigarettes’ gum and candy ones. SMH. People need to relax!!” while another wrote, “OMG! I can’t! They are too cute!”

“I find it laughable that some overly sensitive people had an issue with my kids dressing up for Halloween and having fake prop cigarettes to fit a character role which they NAILED by the way,” Roger told In Touch exclusively about the drama on social media.

Roger continued to defend his parenting skills. “I have no time for the sensitive Sally’s out there who want to let their kids grow up in a bubble. These are likely the same parents who grew up with fake candy cigarettes just like I did. Those are much worse for you than ones filled with cotton,” he said.

Roger advised some people to unfollow him if they didn’t like seeing his content. “Also very likely the same parents who dress their kids up with fake blood, knives, guns and gore, but that’s OK. If you’re a sensitive soul don’t follow my page,” he shared.

“It will give you nightmares,” he added. “And the Mathews family certainly are not apologizing to anyone for some prop cigarettes for Halloween costumes.”
