Rihanna Jokes: I Want to Spank Britney
In an interview on Z100’s “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show” on April 11, Rihanna joked with Z100’s Elvis Duran about wanting to make a music video for her new duet remix of “S&M” with Britney Spears. Said the Barbadian pop star, “I hope [we do a video for the song]. I want to spank Britney.”
According to Rihanna, it was her fans who decided on the unique pairing. “In order to do a remix, it had to be major,” she shared. “I asked my fans last week who they wanted me to collaborate with, and Britney was one of the most popular names.”
Rihanna also said in the interview that you never see “two pop female artists doing songs together anymore.” Her request for fans of the collaboration? “Just call us R&B.”
