Amazing news. Olivia Ambrose, the 23-year-old woman who went missing on January 19 in Boston, has miraculously been found alive, In Touch can confirm. Ambrose is currently being transported to a city hospital for evaluation purposes.

“Thank you to everybody who aided, helped and assisted in the investigation and search. A press conference is scheduled for 6:00pm at BPD Headquarters,” the Boston Police Department tweeted about the case on January 22.

Ambrose previously vanished from Hennessy’s, a Boston bar, around 11 p.m. ET. According to the latest reports, a suspect is in custody, but a name has not been released. Ambrose was reportedly found at a housing project in the city’s Charlestown neighborhood.

In a new statement, the Ambrose family reveals they are “overjoyed” while thanking the Boston Police Department, as well as the MBTA and Transit Police, for their hard work and dedication. “The Ambrose family is also so appreciative of all the efforts, prayers and good wishes of their friends, family and complete strangers who have helped in the efforts to find Olivia,” it reads.

It’s been a tough week for friends and family members, who feared the worst for the 23-year-old. “We were all here, we were just dancing in front of the band and then somewhere just like around 10 p.m. I don’t know I guess we got separated and then she left at 11,” Ambrose’s sister Franny told CBS Boston. Despite the scary situation, Franny tried to remain positive. “My hope is that [Olivia] shows up, comes back walks right through that door,” she said.

The incredible news about Ambrose came shortly after Boston Police took to social media to release photos of a man they described as a “person of interest” in her three-day disappearance. The snaps were surveillance camera images captured at a MBTA station in Charlestown.

“Anything at all. Even if they don’t think it is relevant, it might be,” Ambrose’s mother said when her daughter first went missing, according to Radar. “We just want to hear from her and have her home.” Now that she’s been found alive, they can finally be reunited.
