She’s out of reality TV game! As it turns out, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola isn’t just done with starring on Jersey Shore, she may also be done with her former costars. According to a source close to the MTV cast, Sammi has been ignoring the rest of the gang when they try to reach out. Despite multiple attempts to reconnect, she’s simply not interested in a reunion. On Instagram, the star shared why she chose not to return. “I am at a completely different place in my life right now focusing on my business and my relationship,” she wrote.

“I am currently extremely happy … and want to avoid potentially toxic situations. However, it was a difficult decision as I love my roomies,” she told fans. “I’ve decided to focus on me, my future and what truly makes me happy.”

The star wanted to spend her time with her then-boyfriend, Christian Bicardi, who she later got engaged to in 2019.

Now, however, it seems like there may have been something to all of the gossip. A source close to the cast of the MTV show told Us Weekly that Sammi has started ignoring her old friends.

“Some of the cast members have tried reaching out, but she hasn’t responded to them lately,” the insider spilled. “They would really like to still be friends.”

In September, Sammi also revealed that none of the women from the show made the list when she chose which family members and friends would become her bridesmaids at her wedding.

Though it’s not clear whether there are hard feelings or if Sammi is just done with that time in her life, her costars still seem to wish her the best — even her ex Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.

“You know, God bless her, and I’m glad that she found happiness,” Ronnie, 33, said when he heard the news about Sammi’s engagement. “I’m glad that we’ve all found happiness, you know? We’re very lucky.”

It’s not clear whether or not the feeling is mutual, but at least one thing is obvious: Sammi and her boo seem to be living their best lives these days. We’re rooting for them.
