I will always say that about him,” Nicole told Entertainment Tonight about her man. “I’m one of the very fortunate women in the world to have had a wonderful father, and I have a wonderful husband, and I’m just very — I love to be able to say that because to talk about the good men that have influenced me and affected me.”

Nicole knew from the moment she met Keith that he was The One. “It was my [38th] birthday, and he stood outside with gardenias at 5 a.m. on my stoop in New York,” she told People in January. “That is when I went, ‘This is the man I hope I get to marry.’”

“You can’t really get kids into anything, I’ve realized,” she told Vanity Fair. “You can push them a bit, but motivation is a really hard thing. I mean, nobody motivated me to be an actor. If anything, they tried to deter me.”

So, what is the secret to their lasting marriage? Well, according to Nicole, it’s super easy. “[It’s] extremely simple with what we want from each other and what we want from a relationship,” she said. “Just peas in a pod in that regard.”

The Grammy winner feels the same way about his wifey. “Nic is so unbelievably open. She doesn’t keep things in or bottle up. She’s a really great communicator,” he gushed to HITS magazine. “Because of her, if I open up, every day, I’m listening and growing and learning. If I’m a better man, it’s because of her.” Ugh, we just can’t get enough of these two.
