What an inspiration! Janine Mueller has struggled with her weight throughout her entire life, but it looks like she’s making positive strides based on her latest update. The My 600-lb Life star treated fans to an incredible new photo after revealing that she recently had major surgery. See her transformation in the video above and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

Janine captivated viewers while documenting her journey on Season 6 of the hit TLC reality TV series, in which morbidly obese patients try to get approved for bariatric surgery — and it’s often a matter of life or death. Janine was under the care of renowned weight loss surgeon Dr. Nowzaradan, and failed to meet the requirements off the bat. At the time of her episode, Janine found herself at her heaviest at about 678 pounds. The former TLC star has since moved from Washington to Texas, making her a lot closer to to Dr. Nowzaradan’s office as she recovers.

“Hi y’all! Yep, I am becoming a Texan! Sorry I have not been very good about updating. To be honest, I was not ready for all the attention I got from the TV show, both good and bad,” Janine wrote in an update earlier this year. “The good news is I am doing well! I am still losing weight and pressing toward my surgery dates. I will get my lymphedema mass removed off my right thigh, I will get my sleeve and there will be a lot more to come,” she shared on March 14. After her latest update, fans are thrilled to see her doing so well!

Several friends and fans sent Janine well-wishes in the comment section under her new photo, complimenting how amazing she looks. “You look fantastic! Hope you are doing well and hope to see an update show on your success,” one wrote. “Wow!! Look at you!! Congratulations,” another added. Viewers haven’t seen the last of Janine, as the filming for her highly anticipated Where Are They Now? episode began in early 2018 and the episode is reportedly scheduled to air in 2019.
