After Miley Cyrus’ Malibu home was destroyed in the Woolsey fire in November, the pop star has now filed paperwork to begin re-building her house again, Radar Online revealed.

On July 2, the 26-year-old filed in the city of Malibu to request permission to begin excavating a plot of land where her previous mansion was. According to the paperwork, the “Wrecking Ball” crooner paid $412.33 for the permit, digging and drilling to start at her former $2.5 million home.

In November, Miley’s husband, Liam Hemsworth, showed his followers what happened to their humble abode on Instagram. “It’s been a heartbreaking few days. This is what’s left of my house,” he captioned a photo of four letters — that spelled out the word “LOVE” — on the ground. “Love. Many people in Malibu and surrounding areas in California have lost their homes also, and my heart goes out to everyone who was affected by these fires. I spent the day in Malibu yesterday, and it was amazing to see the community pulling together to help each other out in any way they can. Malibu is a strong community, and this event is only going to make it stronger.”

One month later, the blonde beauty spoke about how amazing her man was during the horrific experience. “I call him my survival partner now,” she told Howard Stern at the time. “He thinks it’s not romantic, but I learned that is why you pair up with someone — for survival — and he was so incredible.”

The Tennessee native also explained that The Hunger Games actor was so incredible with all of their pets. “He got all the animals out in his truck — he put two pigs in crates. I said, ‘How did you get them out?’ and he said the only thing he could [do] was get a really powerful hose and sprayed them in the ass. So, he just chased the pigs into the crate — which was genius.”

Oh, and of course, Miley had to thank the handsome hunk for his heroic actions. “He got a lot of action for saving the animals,” she said. “He got a lot of action. We had to make sure that [he] knew I was very thankful.”
