What would Anna Wintour think of this? Luka Sabbat posted a picture of himself in the Met Gala bathroom with a cigarette in his hand while Cole Sprouse also smoked in the background on Monday, May 6. However, it seems like the 21-year-old took the photo down later that night. Hmm … maybe he didn’t want someone to find out?

Usually there are very strict rules in place about guests not taking photos inside the gala — the duo not only smoked, but they also took a selfie. In 2015, Page Six reported that all the attendees received this warning: “The use of phones for photography and social media will not be permitted inside the gala.” However, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner broke that rule two years in a row when they took an epic bathroom mirror selfie that went viral in 2017 and 2018.

Before the prestigious event, Luka uploaded several videos to his Instagram Stories getting ready for the big night. “Met Gala Glam,” he wrote while he was getting a fresh shave. Then, Luka shared snaps of his night — a picture of Gwen Stefani with Jeremy Scott, Katy Perry in her chandelier outfit and Kendall Jenner sitting at a table. Even though the New York native used to hook up with Kendall’s sister Kourtney Kardashian, it seemed like it wasn’t awkward at all.

Meanwhile, Cole, 26, came with his girlfriend, Lili Reinhart for the second year in a row. The Riverdale star also took a picture inside the gala last year, too. “I think much of your responsibility, as a young talent going to these parties, is finding ways to break the rules and sneak a cigarette at the table,” he told GQ on Friday, May 3. “Bring the flask.”

Does the handsome hunk have fun at the annual event? “I do!” he revealed. “Is it the most raging party of the year? The afterparties are quite fun but there’s — not a respectable amount of fun, but an appreciation for the nature of the event.”

We just hope that Cole and Luka are invited back next year for their ~scandalous~ crimes.
