Melissa Rycroft on Having Three Kids Age 6 and Under: “It’s Chaos All the Time!” (EXCLUSIVE)
Melissa Rycroft, Bachelor Season 13 winner who was famously dumped by Jason Mesnick on After the Final Rose, opens up to In Touch in an interview, revealing Bachelor drama is nothing compared to her life now.
As mom to Ava, 6, Beckett, 3, and Cayson, 20 months, with salesman husband Tye Strickland, Melissa — who returned to TV in 2017 to host the Dallas-based show Morning Dose — says every moment is pure pandemonium. "I have 3 kids age 6 and under — it’s chaos all the time,” she tells In Touch. "Everybody says I’m going to miss this stage, but it’s hard!"
“I wake up at 3 a.m. every day but I’m done with work by 8 so I get to come home and be Mom,” Melissa explains. "Just seeing who these little people are turning into,” she says. "None of us really knows what we’re doing, so when you feel like you’re doing it right, it makes it worth it.”
While Melissa says she feels like she's done after three — her husband would love another one. “We’ll have to see!” she says.
