‘LPBW Star’ Matt Roloff Says He ‘Bolted’ to the Airport After Auctioning Off Family Farm Items
Big changes are happening! After a busy week at his family’s farm, including a big auction, Matt Roloff headed out for a weekend getaway in Arizona with his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler. He shared a video of them back in the southern state after conducting the auction where he said, “Here we are in Arizona … what a difference a day makes. It’s rainy and pouring in Oregon right now, and here we are, ready for pool time!”
Matt, 57, noted that after celebrating his son Jacob Roloff’s wedding to Isabel Rock, their reception and granddaughter Ember Roloff’s second birthday party, he spent some “quality time” with his folks from California. “Then I switched gears to frantically spending the [latter] part of the week setting up our big @rolofffarms auction — mixed with plenty of time with Jackson and Ember riding on all grandpas new playsets we just finished building,” he added Aw! Lucky kids.
Matt said he and Caryn “bolted to the airport to catch the late flight from Portland to Phoenix” as soon as the auction was over. “Today we conducted the very fun auction all morning while also filming LPBW the entire time …” he wrote. “Now we are all cozy in our Arizona home. Sitting on the back terrace enjoying the warmth … Deciding which pool to visit tomorrow for some long overdue noodle time. Looking forward to a nice relaxing 4-day weekend before racing back to the farm next week to finish setting up the final touches on our pumpkin patch.” Seems like a nice vacay to us!
So what did Matt auction off, anyway? He shared a few days earlier that the family Ford Expedition was on the auction block, and wrote that it was “Kinda sad thinking about all the family trips we made in that rig over the years.”
Several people in the comments got worried that Matt was selling the farm, but it sounds like he was just getting rid of some items on the property. His son, Jeremy Roloff, seems interested in purchasing his own farm, but has previously said that Roloff farms is “very expensive.” Do you think he snagged any of the items just in case?
