‘Married At First Sight’ Star Danielle Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 1 With Bobby (EXCLUSIVE)
And baby makes three! Married at First Sight Season 7 star Danielle Bergman is pregnant and expecting baby No. 1 with her husband Bobby Dodd. The couple announced their pregnancy ahead of the MAFS Season 7 reunion special on Tuesday, Oct. 23, and Danielle gushed over the exciting news in an exclusive statement to In Touch. Danielle, 30, and Bobby, 27, tied the knot at the beginning of MAFS Season 7 as strangers when they met at the altar on their wedding day for the very first time. But the team of experts that matched Danielle and Bobby did a good job because they were one of the two couples from their season that decided to stay married at the end of the season.
During their season, the couple had a misunderstanding about what type of wife Bobby was looking for and whether he expected his wife to conform to traditional gender roles. “Things have been so good so far and we’ve talked about anything and everything but at the same time, we’re discovering that there are some differences between what our ideal vision of marriage is,” Danielle said in her confessional. “It seems like he really wants his wife to stay home and take care of kids — that’s something we’re very different on.”
Even though Danielle wasn’t sure yet about whether she would want to be a stay-at-home mom or if she would want to be a working mom, Bobby still wanted her to know that as her husband, he would support her either way. “I’m not trying to have this 1950s lifestyle in 2018,” he explained and apologized if it came across that way. “And so, whatever it is that you want to do, I want to help you meet those goals.”
The couple will make their return to reality TV during the season premiere of Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After?, airing Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
