Malika Haqq’s Ex-Boyfriend O.T. Genasis Is the Father of Her First Child
Baby on the way! Malika Haqq recently surprised fans everywhere by announcing that she was pregnant with her first child, and now the father’s identity has been revealed. Khloé Kardashian’s BFF is expecting a bundle of joy with her ex, O.T. Genasis, a source confirmed with Us Weekly on Monday, September 30.
Malika, 36, and O.T. Genasis (whose real name is Odis Oliver Flores) have been romantically linked for two years, but the star seemingly confirmed she called it quits with the “CoCo” lyricist back in June by captioning a new photo on Instagram “single.”
Prior to their split, the chart-topping artist gushed over their bond on social media, and he credited Malika with changing his life for the better. ”Before you I was lost and confused and didn’t know how to let my guard down,” he wrote in October 2018. “You know I always play you love songs but now I know what the songs actually mean. I came in thinking I had it figured all out but you gave me the structure I needed to stay balanced. As men we often have PRIDE that makes us not wanna do certain things.”
“I would do anything in this world for you,” O.T. added. “YOU and only YOU made me a better man and want to be a better man … You’re not only my partner, but my best friend.”
Just last week, Malika took to Instagram to share the heartwarming news about her little one, by posting a photo of herself beaming while holding up a positive pregnancy test. “I Listen to my heart, and I’ve decided that the rest of my life will be the best of my life. I’m pregnant! I didn’t know when, I just knew one day,” the reality star wrote. “God said it’s my turn, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the little spirit that grows inside of me. I am yours, baby, and you are mine.”
Of course, Khloé was overjoyed about her BFF becoming a mother. “Congratulation Mika May!!! I am so beyond overwhelmed with love and happiness!!” the E! alum, 35, gushed. “God is GREAT!!! We are all so blessed!! I love you and baby madly.”
On September 30, Malika also sweetly shared the first photo of her baby bump featuring her sister, Khadijah Haqq.
