He's living his best life! Fans are just starting to watch the demise of Molly Hopkins and Luis Mendez's relationship play out on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, but since the show is filmed months in advance, there's already tons of updates on Molly and Luis on social media. As it turns out, Molly and Luis were never really able to repair their relationship and Molly ended up filing for divorce back in January. Just last month, the divorce was finalized, but in the months since his split from Molly, it looks like Luis has been able to remain in the United States — for now.

Judging from a handful of Instagram posts, Luis has been living in Elizabeth, NJ with his brother for the past few months. His most recent Instagram post — which was a video clip of Luis hanging out with his family in a backyard, enjoying some salsa music and a game of dominoes — was geotagged in the New Jersey city.

Other posts that were shared on Luis' Instagram in New Jersey was a photo of taking a walk to get coffee in the morning and praising a barber shop for being the "best" in Elizabeth. It looks like Luis is enjoying living in Jersey more than he ever did while he was living with his ex-wife Molly in Atlanta.

But Luis might not want to get too comfortable here in the states. Because Molly and Luis were married for only six months before Molly filed for a divorce, it would put his green card in danger and not just because a short marriage is a sign of marriage fraud, according to Starcasm. It takes a while for someone to get their interview for a green card once they marry a United States citizen, longer than six months in some cases, so it's unlikely that Luis got his green card before the divorce was finalized.

The only way Luis can remain in the United States even after their divorce is if he is able to prove that he suffered domestic abuse while married to Molly, which may or may not play out later this season.
