Is Shane “the one” for Lacey? Fans were introduced to the blonde beauty during the Season 2 midseason premiere of We TV’s Love After Lockup, and now viewers finally got to meet one of Lacey’s two love interests: her boyfriend, Shane. Lacey, 29, drove seven hours to be the person who picked up Shane, 21, after his release from prison and it seems the couple has a lot of chemistry.

“I am getting butterflies in my stomach right now waiting to finally meet Shane,” Lacey said. “When Shane walks out, it will be the first time that we’ve ever seen each other in person. My first impression of Shane when I saw his picture was, ‘Oh my god, He is so sexy.’ I hope that he’s even better looking than the picture and I hoping when he sees me, he likes what he sees.”

But Shane isn’t the only man and only inmate in Lacey’s life. She’s also engaged to a man named John, who is also incarcerated and the men don’t know that Lacey is seeing both of them at the same time. And it seems like Lacey is leaning towards one of them over the other.

“Shane is very outgoing and sweet, Shane is very affectionate, he is funny, romantic, and he could possibly be the guy that I’ve been looking for,” Lacey said.

Lacey and Shane seemed to hit it off immediately after he was released from prison, where he served four years for malicious wounding. They ran to each other and hugged and kissed for the first time, and Shane complimented Lacey. “I’m so excited to finally meet you, you look beautiful,” he told his lady.

Shane said that he felt that Lacey might be “the one” for him, and he even called her the “love of my life.” Little did Shane know that Lacey might also be the love of someone else’s life — her fiancé, John. In fact, Lacey had to pull over on the way to a breakfast date to take a phone call from John, and she stepped out of the car to take the call so that Shane didn’t find out about her other relationship. And Shane wasn’t suspicious at all.

“It is strange for me that Lacey got out of the car, and walked around the outside of the car and got on the phone,” Shane said in his confessional. “Do I trust her? Yes. I feel as though I can trust her.”
