He’s got quite the rap sheet. On the season 2 premiere of We TV’s hit reality TV series, Love After Lockup, fans were introduced to six new couples — but one couple, in particular, stood out to fans: Lamondre and Andrea! During the season premiere, Andrea introduced herself and her fiancé, Lamondre, who is currently incarcerated, and fans cannot get over Lamondre’s reputation as the “Scarface” of Daytona Beach, Florida.

Andrea is a 37-year-old entrepreneur and Lamondre is a 33-year-old former drug lord who was serving out a 13-year drug trafficking sentence at the Florida State Prison during the time of filming. Andrea had kept her relationship with Lamondre a secret from her family because she described her man as “the bad boy who nobody wants their daughter to date.”

“In Daytona, I did envision myself as Scarface. You know, I had the money, I had the power, I had the respect. I made three hundred-something thousand in a day,” Lamondre told producers during his confessional.

But despite Lamondre’s drug-dealing past, Andrea is willing to look past that for love. “I look at the bigger picture like getting married, like Sundays, going to church. Just that family love,” she said in her confessional. “Lamondre never asked me to marry me, he’s always told me, ‘You’re going to be my wife.’ That was his way of proposing, and of course, I am going to marry him.”

The couple met after Lamondre expressed interest in Andrea to his cousin and his cousin got Andrea’s address so Lamondre could write letters to her. After that, their relationship progressed and Andrea started to visit Lamondre in prison. Now that he’s close to finishing his sentence, Andrea felt that she had to come clean about her relationship with Lamondre.

But of course, her sisters and her mother did not approve of her relationship with Lamondre. Fans will have to tune in to find out if Andrea’s family will ever accept her relationship with Lamondre.

Love After Lockup airs on We TV Fridays at 9 p.m. ET.
