‘Love After Lockup’ Star Lacey Is Involved in Quite the Complicated Love Triangle
We’ve been introduced to plenty of, uh, quirky characters on WEtv‘s Love After Lockup, but few stand out like Lacey does. The reality star made her debut on the second half of season 2 of the show and immediately introduced fans to her complicated life. Not only is she dating an inmate, she’s actually dating two — and she’s got serious future plans with at least one of them. Check out the info below to learn everything you need to know about Lacey.
She has a history of dating inmates.
Right off the bat, Lacey, 29, is quick to admit that she’s actually been involved with quite a few men who’ve been behind bars. First, she dated a guy named Wesley who was later sent to prison. Next up was her ex-husband, who she had three kids with before he was locked up, too. During her divorce, she started seeing John, one of her current love interests. Though they met and initially dated while she was in high school, they’ve since reconnected. The two “hooked back up” about a year ago and got engaged during the few weeks they were together before he went to jail, too.
“I just prefer inmates,” the blonde bombshell told the cameras in the show. That’s demonstrated by the fact that she’s also dating another prisoner named Shane. Shane is actually getting out a few weeks before John, but neither man knows yet that he’s not the only one for Lacey. The drama is sure to play out as she explores relationships with the two men and her dad does her best to shut both down.
She’s a cam model.

She’s got major family drama.
Though her three kids aren’t quite old enough to know what’s going on, Lacey’s dad knows exactly what her deal is — and he doesn’t approve. Though he’s agreed to watch his grandchildren while his daughter goes to meet one of her convict boyfriends as they’re released from jail, he’s not supportive of her relationships. He especially disapproves of the idea that her man is going to move in with her and her family while he’s on probation. “You just need to grow up and think about your kids,” he told her in the show. “You’re gonna bring some guy from jail up in here. We’ll all be in handcuffs walking down the aisle. We’ll all have handcuffs and go to probation every week.” Dang, dad, go off.
